"I have had my renter's insurance policy with them for over 4 years now. Never had a problem until now. A year ago I moved from one unit to a larger one in the same complex. When I moved, the agent did not cancel out my old policy and because I was moving into a bigger unit I expected my bill to go up, not sending any red flags up when I started my new monthly bill and it was more than what I was use to paying. My year mark came around this month so checking on the status to make sure it rolled over, I noticed my old unit was still being billed, for the entire last year!! I called last week and spoke to a lady in the office who told me I was correct in what I found and would be compensated for the last 12 months of being overcharged. I called back today, 08/28/2023 to be told that is not actually what they plan to do at all, the underwriters will only go back and do a back pay for the last 30 days, even though State Farm and the office manager (Marcy) admit it was agent error. I am now out $160 and they do not plan to do anything to compensate me from stealing my money that they now have no intention of giving back. They state they cannot verify that I even spoke to someone a year ago to cancel this out, as if one person would pay for two renters insurance because how much sense does that make. I will be finding a new insurance company to go through with my renters insurance and if you or anyone else would not like your money stolen from them from a company who does not look out for their clients I would do the same. EDIT: Mark reached out and personally made this issue right. He reimbursed me with the amount that was taken out over the last year. I hate it came to me making such a harsh review but I am pleased with the customer service I received after the fact. I have no problem switching my rating at this time."

"Don’t bother with State Farm’s hospital income or disability. I paid into it for 30 years. I had cancer this year and trying to collect on my policies was long and frustrating. I received the wrong form multiple times. My doctor had to fill out one of these and HE knew it was the wrong form! I’m so over this company."

"Called Mark Pritchard to renegotiate my insurance as State Farm raised their rates to $300 above market average. Extremely rude agent that answered the phone said that Mr. Pritchard was not interested in taking my phone call and to call them back when I was ready to cancel. I called twice over the following week making attempts to speak to Mr. Pritchard personally, and he refused to call back. Do not recommend!"

"Mark is awesome as well as his team. They’re so responsive, efficient, and prioritize your needs. I had to get new insurance after moving and Mark made everything so easy. I also turned my lease in and had to get insurance for the next car, super time sensitive. Mark prioritized everything and sent the proper binder, requirements etc. They truly are the best!"

"I can't say enough great things about the folks here at State Farm. They gave me a really great rate on auto insurance for my old car. Then when I recently bought a new car I contacted Mark on a Saturday and he helped me with my insurance needs on the spot! Not everyone knows what good customer service is nowadays, but I've received nothing but excellent customer service here and have recommended them to all of my friends and family!"

"Mark's great - friendly, accessible, dependable. His team on the other hand has been incredible disappointing. And as a result, the relationship has been incredibly disappointing. This is now the 2nd time I've been with them in 2 years. The first time I asked several times before enrolling what would happen if I temporarily added my brother then took him off. I was assured that I should get back to a pretty similar rate as I was quoted individually before. Once I did rate remained super high. So I left. Over a year later, I returned. This time asking several times if the rate was the rate or there were any contingencies. A month later, the rate gets jacked up $70+ a month. I'm told certain discounts were removed. I sent the driver's course completion to two people on Mark's team. I followed up with them several times confirming they received it. They never added it to the policy for whatever reason. Separately, they used my old address. I pointed this out during day 1 of enrollment. They didn't change it. Pointed it out again a few weeks later. They didn't change it. Pointed it out again a month later and was told they'd change it and was reassured it shouldn't change my rate much. Now I'm being told it impacted my rate ~$40 a month. Granted, this is of the $70 mentioned above, but still incredibly frustrating."

"Confused about a billing. Marvia cleared it up quickly and without fuss. Her calm and soothing voicd is a grest asset for someone in customet service, which I worked in for many years. Kudos.. July 2021 Preparing to move to another state, which means I will be forced to leave Mark's agency. Mark & his staff have been unfailingly friendly and helpful. Mark even called during the covid lockdown to make sure I didn't need anything or help with anything. I cannot recommend this agency too highly. Thanks to you all."
